Due to the Coronavirus, we want all of our customers to feel safe shopping and servicing with us. That’s why we are taking preventative steps towards fighting the spread of COVID-19.

We are honored that you have chosen the Gettel Automotive to meet your vehicle needs and we appreciate your loyalty. These are challenging times with the spread of COVID-19 and we want to notify you of the steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Greetings – Our associates are trained to greet all customers with a smile and a handshake. While the smile will continue, please understand that all associates have been advised not to shake hands.

Cleaning and Sanitation – We have increased the daily cleanings of all customer touchpoints in our stores and the nightly deep cleanings of all common areas. This includes seating, workstations, coffee bars, doors and door handles. All associates have been instructed to thoroughly wash their hands throughout the day. We have also added sanitation stations and wipes throughout all stores. Please ask an associate if you need either during your visit.

Your Vehicle – We have implemented the use of plastic seat covers, paper floormats and plastic steering wheel covers when you bring your vehicle in for service. These items will not be removed until the vehicle will be delivered back to you. Anyone touching your vehicle will do so using fresh gloves and remove those gloves after delivery of your vehicle.

Loaner Vehicles – Each vehicle will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use.

Refreshments and Food Service – We will no longer provide food service other than snack machines. Water and coffee will continue to be provided but please pardon our limited offerings during these times.

Employee Health Concerns – Our associates are prohibited from coming to work for 14 days if they have been exposed to a person with COVID-19, traveled to an affected area as determined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), or been on a cruise. Associates have been instructed to not congregate or hold meetings with more than 10 in attendance at any time. As a company we have halted all business-related travel.

We understand that we are in unchartered territory with COVID-19 and steps taken to prevent the spread may need to change. We are closely monitoring the guidance from the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) and will act accordingly. We want our valued guests to feel comfortable visiting our stores knowing we are being diligent to prevent a spread of the virus.
